Future public investment
In order to promote the "selection and concentration" of public investment for social capital development, the Ministry of Finance will focus on new investment projects with high management efficiency of private investment and request the expansion of the introduction of PPP / PFI. In addition, the Ministry of Finance has requested the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, which has jurisdiction over infrastructure, to concentrate investment on cost-effective projects and to introduce concessions for operating public facilities at all nationally managed airports.
・ Careful selection of businesses with relatively high cost-effectiveness (B / C)
・ Expansion of introduction of PPP / PFI to public works
・ Introducing concessions at all nationally managed airports in principle
・ Introduction of PFI to "sewage sludge effective utilization facility" that converts sewage sludge into solid fuel
